Gina is a Florida Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MT5516). Her work with couples brings together attention to relationship patterns, emotional needs, and the experiences each partner brings into the relationship.
Her integrative approach draws on Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method principles, attachment-based work, and family systems perspectives. Sessions are shaped around your relationship and goals.
One person pushes for a conversation. The other pulls away. Both end up hurt, and the original concern gets lost. In counseling, Gina helps you notice these interactions and explore the feelings and needs beneath them.
Your work together may include recognizing what escalates conflict, expressing concerns more clearly, listening with greater understanding, and learning how to return to a conversation after a difficult moment. When trust has been damaged, sessions also make room for its impact and the changes needed to move forward.
If you would like your Christian faith included, Gina can thoughtfully integrate it into your work together. Faith integration is optional and guided by your preferences. Clients of all beliefs are welcome.

No. Couples counseling can support partners at different stages, including those who want to strengthen communication or address concerns before they grow.
Gina works to understand each partner’s experience and the interactions between you. Both people have space to speak, and harmful behavior or concerns about safety are taken seriously.
Sessions can provide a structured place to talk about betrayal, its impact, and what rebuilding trust would involve. The work also supports clarity about next steps; staying together is not a guaranteed outcome.
You do not have to begin with identical expectations. It can help to talk about what feels uncomfortable and what each person hopes might improve. You are welcome to ask questions before scheduling.
The length and frequency of counseling depend on your concerns, goals, and circumstances. Gina will discuss a plan with you and revisit it as the work progresses.
